Plans for the New Year

Not going to say “New Year’s Resolutions”, but I’m going to put together some “plans” for early 2015.

Some simple discrete goals:

  • Lose a stone.
  • Cycle a bit more.
  • Drink less.
  • Book a Spring Break.

Nothing too strenuous there. Some are complementary (in particular cycling & booze reduction should help shift the stone). So lets say lose the stone by 17th March (Paddy’s day), do a 10k cycle once a week (to commence New Years Day), and midweek drinking to be abolished (till Paddy’s – Birthdays and other special events notwithstanding). The spring break can be a reward for a job well done, and a further opportunity to reflect and set the next set of goals!
